About us:-
Mauricette Child Education Development Foundation, registered on 4th of October 2013 having registration number 179 after the name of a Belgium lady “Mauricette” who came to India in late 90s and worked extensively for slum children education and their development in India.
Inspired by the love and affection extended by this lady to the poor children, we decided to name this trust after her name.
Currently we are working in Kathputli Colony Slum near Pandav Nagar, New Delhi. In order to improve lives of poor people, we have decided to make use of the best tool to fight against their poverty, i.e. “Education”, by supporting education of their children.
Considering the level of existing competition in India and in our society, we have decided to help slum children through our activities, while improving the educational quality, to give them an ambience wherein they can study and prepare themselves for the competitive world.
